POST /v1/operations/prepare_api_exchange

Hash URL, application body bytes and explicitly selected headers locally. Never submit raw API content or credentials. Save the event, idempotencyKey and ORIGINAL payment authorization before sending payment. Reuse them unchanged after any timeout; a pending payment must not be replaced. EOA EIP-3009 signatures supported. MCP payment metadata: params._meta["x402/payment"].

Receipts attest client declarations, not independent observations, response truth or qualified timestamps. No blockchain anchoring of the receipt. USDC payment settlement is separate from receipt integrity. Verify offline with independently trusted issuer public keys.
